New York Photo Awards ‘09 Opens for Submissions!

Following the successful first year of the New York Photo Awards, the New York Photo Festival 2009 (NYPH’09) is proud to announce the kickoff of the New York Photo Awards 2009. In its inaugural year, the New York Photo Awards surpassed all expectations in terms of the quality, reach and number of submissions that were received (over 3,500 submissions and 15,000 images were received from 60+ countries worldwide).

The New York Photo Awards Ceremony, a gala affair held at the world-renowned St. Ann’s Warehouse on the evening of May 16th, at the height of the New York Photo Festival 2008, was attended by more than 650 photographers and industry professionals, and reflected the passion and dedication of the international photographic community who came together to honor the year’s New York Photo Awards winners.
