I'm getting fed up finding keywords for my images. I want a program where all I have to do is enter a few keywords and the program comes up with a million suggestions, then I want to export them to the exif IPTC data in photoshop.

Any such animal?

Check out David Riecks controlledvocabulary.com the Metalloging resources section, you'll find it useful.

If you are running Windows OS you might also want to check out Deep Perspective.

Their keywording tool works as a photoshop plugin and includes:

Spell Checker.
Correction suggestions.
Synonyms suggestions.
Sorting.
Deleting duplicate words.
Words counting.
Saving groups of words and adding all the words in the group at once .
Saving complete Templates of Meta-data.
Converting words to upper/lower case.
Recent typing list for any Meta-data field.

You can download a trial version or purchase it for 15$. The trial verision is fully functional for 30 days.

I've been playing around with it for a couple of days and it seems to be very useful, especially for those pesky synonyms.

Well, hello Miz!  Good to see you here!  You know me as Riffmax elsewhere.

So, did you have any luck with this?

You might want to consider KC Lite available at www.KeywordCompiler.com . This is a simple software, costing $29 per year, that has much of the power of Keyword Compiler, which has been in use by photographers and stock photo agencies since 2000. KC Lite will facilitate keywording. You would then copy and paste the results into File Info or online submission processes, or export data for use via some other tool.
