Finding the right image for a design should help drive your creative process not disrupt it. Adobe® Stock Photos lets you easily find, edit, place, and buy royalty-free stock images and the respective comps so you can stay focused on your design. You can purchase images from multiple leading image providers with one transaction and they’ll all be covered under a single license agreement. From search to purchase, the entire workflow occurs within Adobe® Creative Suite. 1. Begin your search by choosing File > Browse from Adobe Photoshop® CS2, Adobe Illustrator® CS2, Adobe InDesign® CS2, or Adobe GoLive® CS2 (or click Adobe Stock Photos in the Favorites panel in Adobe Bridge). 2. Use the text box to perform a general search or refine your results using the Advanced Search. Your searches are automatically saved. 3. Click Download Comp while viewing search results to download watermark-free comps. 4. View downloaded comps by clicking the Downloaded Comps icon. 5. Edit comps by double-clicking an image in the Downloaded Comps folder to open it in Photoshop CS2. Once the file is open in Photoshop, you can edit it as you would any other image. 6. Drag images from Bridge directly into your InDesign CS2, Illustrator CS2, or GoLive CS2 file. Select Switch To Compact Mode in Bridge to shrink the window so that it can float above other applications like a palette.
7. Track Adobe Stock Photos comps in InDesign and Illustrator using the Links palette. Choose Link File Info in the Links palette menu to view the file’s metadata. 8. Preflight documents for potential print problems in InDesign by choosing File > Preflight. InDesign flags the low-resolution comp images during preflight. 9. Purchase high-resolution images to replace the comps directly from InDesign or Illustrator by choosing Purchase This Image from the Links palette menu. The image is automatically added to your shopping cart and presented to you. 10. Log into your account or sign in as a guest to complete the purchase. There are several benefits of having an account for your purchases, including the ability to view order status, track account history, and download previously purchased images again. 11. Download the high-resolution images immediately or choose to download them at a more convenient time. All downloaded, purchased images are placed in your Purchased Images folder located in the Favorites panel of Adobe Bridge under Adobe Stock Photos.
