ImageImages that "POP"
Ever hear that expression? Do you know what it means?

Question: Do you have any images that "POP" in your gallery?
I like to call it the "WOW!" factor. Because it is a tangible thing you
can actually place in every single image you own!

What are some of the components that make up the WOW factor?
1. Composition, design and framing
2. Subject
3. Color

Let’s make this image:

Into this:

First we need to convert the image to LAB
Image>Mode>LAB Color

Next we use Apply Image

For this image I used the settings displayed here.

The b channel and blending set to Linear light.

Other blending that you can use are: Overlay, Soft light. Hard light, just try them all !

This is what you get!

Note* Remember to CONVERT your image back to RGB mode in order to save as a JPG image
