Munich, October 27, 2006 – The
web-based image sales platform optimizes with a new distribution system
the collaboration with existing partner agencies and allows for further
international growth.
"Automatic FTP-Push“ and "Dynamic Link“ are the two main pillars of
imageBroker.net’s new distribution system. Partner-agencies can decide
if they wish to receive new imagebroker images every evening or only
once or twice a week. All new images will be transmitted by automatic
FTP-push to the agency’s server in low-res-quality.
In the case of a high-res-download by the agency’s customer, the
download will be made directly from imagebroker’s server by means of a dynamic link. The system has been tested with a number of agencies in detail. It functions excellently and will be accepted very positively by the
agencies. This avoids having to transport hundreds of gigabytes which
must be hosted by the partners.
"This system is the basis for imagebroker.net’s continued expansion of
the international partner network.“ says Klaus-Peter Wolf, owner of
imageBroker.net. "It is our goal to gain the best agencies as sales
partners in all relevant countries. imageBroker wants to be positioned
well everywhere, as is the case in Germany with such excellent partners
as mauritius images.“
