(BRENTWOOD, Tennessee)--Dreamstime.com, a global community microstock agency and distinguished leader in the industry, has partnered with PicFindr.com in an innovative business agreement to make professional quality photo images readily available to the Web photo seeker.
In addition to PicFindr’s array of photos that are ABSOLUTELY FREE (for commercial use), Dreamstime.com will offer its professionally edited collection of images at a nominal price. In its exclusive agreement with PicFindr.com (founded in 2006, searching more than 2 Million photos—excluding Dreamstime—servicing the world over), Dreamstime.com (already a free-photo PicFindr partner) will now make available high-quality, low-cost stock photography images. The entire Dreamstime library will be included in the PicFindr search engine beginning immediately. Dreamstime.com is the only microstock agency aligned with PicFindr to offer the best-of-the-best print quality images and photos for commercial use.
“Dreamstime’s visionary yet down-to-earth approach is a perfect fit for us,” said Rick Englert, PicFindr founder and creator. “This partnership will offer PicFindr users even greater choices, while broadening PicFindr’s appeal to a larger audience.”
For those internet users in search of the perfect picture, the PicFindr.com search engine will conduct a vertical search for their photo from a variety of free stock, public domain and photo community sites; sites which have been hand-picked for image quality and terms-of-use favorable to the design professional. As an alternative to the standard Internet image search as provided by Google, Yahoo! and others, PicFindr's innovative search method caters to the professional image seeker by eliminating images not available for use because of various copyright restrictions. Unique in the photo-search category, PicFindr.com allows the free photo seeker to search by licensing requirements (ex. asking permission, giving credit, paying a nominal fee or none at all) as part of their search affording better satisfaction and results to the Internet user.
“This new venture with PicFindr.com will not only enhance Dreamstime.com exposure overall to potential new clients and/or contributors, it will allow us to better serve each and every photo-shopper,” said Serban Enache, CEO and co-creator of Dreamstime.com.
Dreamstime.com currently has more than 300,000 customers all over the world and over 1,300,000 images available. To meet the overwhelming demand for stock photography and images, the three-year old community agency features a gallery of high quality photography, graphics, illustrations, artwork, scenic backgrounds and more. Dreamstime.com provides imagery to a wide variety of clients in the creative market from the private sector to Fortune 500 companies (including the world’s largest advertising agencies, magazines, television stations and production companies).
