$100,000 for Paparazzi

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Celebrity photographers are jostling for proof of the apparent reconciliation of singer Chris Brown and Rihanna, whose stormy relationship has fascinated and stunned fans and feminists.

Photo agencies said on Monday that the first picture of the couple together again, three weeks after Brown's alleged assault on his girlfriend, would fetch at least $100,000.

Francois Navarre, owner of photo agency X17, said a shot of the "Umbrella" singer and her 19 year-old boyfriend is one of the most sought after in the celebrity news world -- right behind an elusive, idyllic family photo of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie with their six children.

The 30 Most Obnoxious (And Expensive) Gamer Stock Photos

In short, either we all just really look like huge douchebags while gaming or a photographer and a video game controller in the same room spells artistic apocalypse. Im leaning towards the latter.

To make matters worse, stock photo sites like Corbis, Shutterstock and Istockphoto have the fucking balls to sell these images for hundreds of dollars each. So journey with me now into this devastated world of spiked hair, extreme zoom-ins and exceedingly forced overexcitability. You’ll wish the tried and true “fat, unkempt, socially inept nerd” gamer stereotype remained cemented as standard forever.

Government brings down shutters on shutters

We've never had much faith in political types over here at Photo Spy. It seems to us that what our politicians say and what they actually do are all too often entirely different things. Some might call this cynicism, we call it accurate.
