The protest against The Guardian's refusal to pay reproduction fees has reached France, as more than 4000 photographers have been asked to refuse work from the newspaper
Earlier this year, freelance and contract photographers received a letter from Chris Elliott, managing editor at Guardian News & Media, informing them that The Guardian and The Observer would cease paying reuse fees for commissioned images.
