Jersey City, NJ/USA Tetra Images, a leading royalty free stock image production company, has announced the appointment of picture industry veteran Chuck Plante as its new Creative Director.
Plante is an established image industry veteran, having started out as a picture researcher at The image Bank in 1984 and subsequently enjoying a lengthy career at that company while holding such positions as Creative Manager and Director of Photography. rnrnPlante has also held the positions of Director of Photography and Collection Director at Getty Images, Visual Leader at Photonica (where he conceived and started the highly successful Iconica brand now owned by Getty Images), and most recently as VP Creative at amanaProductions, a subsidiary of amanaImages in Tokyo.
Tetra Images is known for relevant, conceptual pictures that earn an extremely high rate of return in the global marketplace, commented Tetra president Valerie Saunders. Plantes role at Tetra will be twofold: to reinforce and guide the visual direction of the image collection, as well as recruit talented new photographers to join Tetras roster of contributors.
